Commercial Administrator

Seacom South Africa | Johannesburg

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for, inter alia, the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and recommend customer details on Sales Force (SFDC)
  • Ensure all compliance documents are correct, NDA signed CIF to be signed by the correct person (Authoritative person)
  • Manage commercial order process and create order forms on SFDC or manual order forms in cases where the system doesn’t cater for the same.
  • Ensure that contracts are in place before creating Order Forms
  • Capture details on Service Provider order trackers
  • Manage signing of contracts and order forms and file on Agiloft and SharePoint
  • Liaise with cable landing station team to ensure customers located within the cable landing station have contracts and Order Forms and statement of works (SOW’s) are issued before any work can be carried out
  • Weekly reporting of OFs created and outstanding
  • Create and provide statistical reports
  • Support line manager with commercial tenders/bids
  • Maintain and organize all commercial agreements/contracts in the CMS
  • Manage and provide online filing for billing and commercial purposes
  • Capture details of all contracts onto library
  • Track all contracts ensuring fully executed contracts are filled correctly in the library
  • Manage and respond to queries from internal and external customers
  • Other back up services as required by the Commercial & Billing section
  • All other administrative duties

EDUCATION:

  • 3 Year Business Degree/Diploma or working towards obtaining a business degree.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably with 2-5 Years working experience
  • MS Office Management Skills
  • Good oral and written communications skills in English
  • Organised and a very good organiser
  • Integrity, credibility, and high standards of professional conduct
  • Understanding of contractual and business agreements
  • Understanding of foreign currencies and conversions
  • Achievement and customer oriented. Independent, creative and with drive
  • Ability to interact successfully with people at all levels
