The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director: Digital Services, and will be responsible for, inter alia, the following:
Product Development and Planning
- Assist in development of the Five-Year plan of Revenue, revenue driven OPEX and CAPEX
- Develop and manage a product roadmap:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of Product Initiatives for new products, product enhancements, or cost reduction. This includes the development of business cases with stakeholders that leads to a decision.
- Manage the implementation of Product Initiatives including managing dependencies and managing stakeholders to RFS
- Launch Product Initiatives with pricing readiness, margin analysis, approved T&C’s, training of sales, readiness of support functions, sales collateral, sales incentives, and sales target.
Product Management
- Review and assess product performance:
- Market: Through analysis of individual territories, define targeted segments and related tactics, which include a differentiated value proposition matched to a suitable product.
- Product Features: Advising on relevant feature enhancements
- Pricing: Establishing SEACOM price points and tracking movement in the market
- Costing: Managing costing structures
- Margin: Responsible entirely for product margins. Tracking and reporting of the margin on products, and the overall success based budget.
- Enable the sales team through:
- Providing the necessary tools including the pricing tool, marketing collateral and proposal templates
- Providing market insight. Specific guidance on what to sell to whom and why
- Providing competitive insight and response tactics
- Training on the product portfolio, pricing and tools available to sales
- Developing campaigns through collaboration with marketing to generate sales leads
- Enable the various SEACOM functions to support the products:
- Provide products & services descriptions ad sales contract documentation
- Providing the necessary tools including the pricing tool, marketing collateral and proposal templates
- Enable the various SEACOM functions to support the products:
- Assist management to make decisions on non-standard bids though the production of business cases
Pre-sales and Solutioning
- Increased Sales Conversion Rate
- Support sales teams in closing deals through tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver compelling demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and proposals.
- Help qualify opportunities for fit and viability early in the sales cycle.
- High-Quality, Customer-Centric Solutions
- Design scalable, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions aligned with client needs.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, budget, and timelines.
- Bridge customer pain points with ICT capabilities (cloud, network, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Accurate Solution Costing and Risk Mitigation
- Provide reliable cost estimates and risk assessments.
- Work closely with finance, procurement, and delivery to ensure margin protection.
- Highlight and manage solution delivery risks during the pre-sales process.
- Reduced Time-to-Proposal
- Streamline the proposal development process and standardize solution frameworks.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and technical designs.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify and suggest new solution offerings based on market and customer trends.
- Incorporate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, SD-WAN, SASE, IoT) into solution design.
- Continuously refine and evolve pre-sales processes and toolsets.
- Pipeline Growth and Technical Strategy Support
- Contribute to shaping the ICT portfolio and go-to-market strategies.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through deep customer understanding.
Strategic Initiatives
- Increased Sales Conversion Rat

- Architect and build solutions for our existing and prospective Client base

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- An advanced Management degree preferred
- 5+ years of services experience in telecommunications.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of analytical experience
- Detailed knowledge of ICT and Telecoms technologies
- Experience in Telco Strategy
- Good presentation skills

- Ensure solution alignment with customer business goals and technical environments.
- Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team including solution architects, product managers, and technical consultants.
- Promote agile methodologies and DevOps practices for rapid, high-quality delivery.
- Establish delivery frameworks, reusable components, and accelerators to enhance efficiency.
